An ancient path into timeless nature
On Lantau Island, the Tung O Ancient Trail was once an important passage for villagers and commodity traders to commute between Tung Chung and Tai O. The coastal trail offers a striking contrast; beginning in the urban Tung Chung equipped with the Hong Kong International Airpot and Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car, passes mangroves and bays, ending in an image of Hong Kong’s cultural past, a centuries-old fishing village.
